United Skim Tour: THE VIC 2022

The 45th anniversary of "The Vic" - the longest running skimboarding contest in the world, certainly showed out from all aspects - the waves were firing, the riders were throwing everything they had at 'em, and people from all over the coast and beyond were bringing the stoke.

From the second I pulled up, you could tell there was a feeling in the air that this was the place to be the morning of August 27th, 2022. Skimboarders, groms, families, and fans alike were gathered to watch the greatness unfold at this year's go of the world famous contest; and boy, did they get a show. With a pretty significant SSW swell providing heavy 3-7 ft shore breaks, the conditions were just about as good as they could get. I couldn't wait to get my camera out and start firing. In just a couple weeks, the UST will return back to Southern California for stop #6 after what will surely be an epic Spain trip for the riders. Can't wait to see what the Exile Oktoberfest on September 17-18 has in store, and I'll be right there to capture it all. Stay tuned for more epic moments.
